iSimilar is designed with privacy as a core principle:
We do not collect, upload, or transmit your photos to any server
We do not require account registration or login
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes
We do not use your data for advertising profiling
All visual analysis happens exclusively on your device. iSimilar generates mathematical vector representations (embeddings) of your photos using an on-device AI model. These embeddings:
Are stored locally in a database on your device
Are never transmitted to our servers or any third party
Do not contain the original image, only a numerical representation
Are deleted when you uninstall the app or reset scan data from Settings
